We are the Stars on the mountain.

When I was young and we would take long family trips, I was always the one to stay awake late at night while my Dad drove. During that time, when our travels took us through the mountains, I would look up at the random tiny lights sparkling way up the mountainside and wonder who lived there. Who resided in those mountain stars floating high up in the dark abyss? Fast forward years later and now I know the answer. We do.

In 2021 we took advantage of the real estate market and sold our first home in North Carolina to move to our dream property; 17.5 acres on the mountainside in Eastern Tennessee and start a quality Shetland Fiber Farm. That dream expanded to include Highland and Highpark Cows, Chickens, and Rabbits.

This was our retirement dream, but through fate and taking a leap of faith, we are living it right now. Join us as we live and learn through each beautiful moment.
