Pizza Dough

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Warm Water
  • 2 1/4 Teaspoon Active Dry Yeast
  • 3 Tablespoons Molasses
  • 2 Tablespoons Corn Meal
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Basil
  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 2 1/2 Cups of Bread Flour (more if necessary)

Instructions

  1. Add warm water and yeast into the mixing bowl. Let sit 10 mins. Should become foamy letting you know the yeast is activated.
  2. Add in the remaining ingredients. Blend using a dough hook on an electric mixer or by hand. Mix until ball forms then knead for 10 minutes until dough is smooth and springy.
  3. Let rise for 1 hour (or overnight in the fridge)
  4. Knead for another 10 minutes.
  5. Let rise for 30 minutes at room temperature or wrap and store in freezer until needed.
  6. Roll out and add desired toppings.
  7. Cook at 425 degrees for 10-15 minutes until the crust is lightly browned.
