Ingredients
- 1 Cup Warm Water
- 2 1/4 Teaspoon Active Dry Yeast
- 3 Tablespoons Molasses
- 2 Tablespoons Corn Meal
- 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic
- 1/2 Teaspoon Basil
- 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 2 1/2 Cups of Bread Flour (more if necessary)
Instructions
- Add warm water and yeast into the mixing bowl. Let sit 10 mins. Should become foamy letting you know the yeast is activated.
- Add in the remaining ingredients. Blend using a dough hook on an electric mixer or by hand. Mix until ball forms then knead for 10 minutes until dough is smooth and springy.
- Let rise for 1 hour (or overnight in the fridge)
- Knead for another 10 minutes.
- Let rise for 30 minutes at room temperature or wrap and store in freezer until needed.
- Roll out and add desired toppings.
- Cook at 425 degrees for 10-15 minutes until the crust is lightly browned.
